Mrs. Yates' students completed the first Semester Exam Review Championship last Thursday. Students attempted to complete 4 rounds of problems in order to be recognized for their achievements. Students who correctly completed all problems from Round 1 got to write their name on a sticky note and place their name on the "Honorable Mention" poster. Students who correctly completed all problems from Round 2 got to move into the "All Algebra Team". Only a select few were able to make it this far! After correctly completing Round 3, students advanced to the "All Stars". Only 3 students made it this far! After correctly completing Round 4, students would move to the "Hall of Fame". Nobody was able to make it to the Hall of Fame, but we had one student come close!
This was a great and fun way for students to practice and review material learned thus far in the semester before their exams. Students put in great effort and were able to reference their math journals they have up-kept throughout the year to help them answer questions from material they may have needed some refreshing on.
All Algebra Team: Dakota Kierre
All Stars: Victoria Cornejo, Zakyla White, and Tiara Washington
Congrats! What a fun way to review, Mrs. Yates!
