The El Dorado School District proudly welcomes Elliot Jacobs as the new Athletic Director. A 2001 graduate of El Dorado High School, Jacobs was a standout athlete, earning All-State honors in both football and baseball as a Wildcat. He continued his athletic career at Arkansas State University, where he was a letterman in both sports and graduated in 2006.
Before beginning his career in coaching and education, Jacobs gained professional playing experience in both baseball and football. He played with the Evansville Otters in the Frontier League and spent a season with the Lakeland Thunderbolts in the Arena Football League.
With 16 years of coaching experience, including 15 years as a head coach, Jacobs has led teams in six different sports across multiple classification levels. His leadership has resulted in two state championships and a state runner-up finish. Beyond coaching, Jacobs brings six years of experience as an Athletic Director, having played a key role in numerous district championships, state runner-up titles, and team state championships.
Jacobs has also contributed to statewide athletic leadership, serving on the Arkansas Athletic Association Football Advisory Committee and as a member of the Arkansas High School Athletic Administrators Association.
Jacobs and his wife, Torri, have four children: Caleb (23) and his fiancée, Nicole; Cannon (16); Camdyn (14); and Caroline (12). They also have one grandchild, Carter.
The El Dorado School District is thrilled to welcome Coach Jacobs back home and looks forward to his leadership in guiding Wildcat athletics to continued success.
