First and foremost, we would like to express our heartfelt gratitude for your continued partnership and support in your child's education. Thank you! | | | As Hispanic Heritage Month continues, we want to celebrate the rich and vibrant cultures that make up our diverse school community. Check out the video below to see what some of the students have been up to. | | | | September Color Wars | We were glad to see students excited to support their houses during our first color war of the school year. Color wars is the first Thursday of each month but due to Picture day, we have postponed the color war event until October 12th. |
| We have Cowbells Ringing! | Mrs. Norris' 3rd period class was the first class to have 100% of the class master their cowbell target of multiplying fractions. Way to go! |
| | | Book Fair | The book fair is currently open until October 5th. Don't forget to swing by during Parent/Teacher Conferences. |
| Parent/Guardian Appreciation Day | Don't forget to sign up for our event. It will be Wednesday, October 11th from 9:30 am-10:30 am. If you would like to attend please RSVP at Bethanie.Hale@esd-15.org to allow us to prepare for the number of attendees. |
| MusicFest | We encourage you to show your support for our talented students this weekend 10/7 downtown at Musicfest. They have been working hard to showcase their musical talents, and your presence will mean the world to them. |

- Parent/Teacher Conferences are just around the corner on October 3rd and 5th from 3:30pm to 6:30pm. This is a valuable opportunity to meet with your child's teachers, discuss their progress, and address any concerns you may have. Your active participation in these conferences is highly encouraged.
- Please mark your calendars for Picture Day on October 5th. Make sure your child comes to school looking their best, as these photos will capture beautiful memories of their time at Washington Middle School.
- We would also like to remind you that there will be no school for students on October 6th, as it is a designated staff professional development day. Take this opportunity to enjoy a day off with your family and recharge!
- Fall Break is just around the corner, starting on October 9th. We hope this break provides you with quality time to relax, explore, and create lasting memories with your loved ones.
- On October 11th, we will be celebrating Parent/Guardian Appreciation Day. This is our chance to honor and recognize the incredible support you provide to your children and our school community. We appreciate all that you do!
- Homecoming Week is scheduled for October 16th-20th. Get ready for a week filled with exciting activities, spirited competitions, and memorable events. Stay tuned for more details on how your child can participate and show their school pride!
- Following Homecoming Week, we will be observing Red Ribbon Week from October 23rd-27th. This is a national campaign aimed at promoting drug-free and healthy lifestyles. Join us as we raise awareness and encourage our students to make positive choices.
- We are pleased to announce that the Flu Clinic will be held on October 26th. Please ensure your child has completed and returned the necessary consent forms. Let's keep our students healthy and protected!
