For this project art students were placed into groups to work together to build Viking ships. They were to designate tasks such as: carving the boat, building oars, shields, the mast and sail, ropes, painting, etc.. The boats were carved from floral foam, and other ship details were added with cardboard, paper, popsicle sticks, & string. Each student had a part and they worked very effectively to create unique Viking ships!
