Throughout the 2021-2022 school year, Northwest Elementary is following the Roadrunner Way, by being just like ROADIE: R-respectful, O- open-hearted, A- aware, I- independent, E- encouraging. Each month, students will nominate a student from their class based on the ROADIE focus of the month.
In September, teachers nominated a student who demonstrated the R in Roadie: respectful. Teachers gave a brief description of how that student demonstrated respect and deserved to be called Roadie of Excellence for the month of September. In the following months, teachers will be looking for students who display the other characteristics of Roadie: open-hearted, aware, independent, and encouraging.
