Due to some players being quarantined because of COVID-19, the game between the El Dorado Wildcats and the Jonesboro Golden Hurricanes on September 25 has been canceled. The game has been ruled a “no contest.” The status of the game between the El Dorado Wildcats and Pine Bluff Zebra’s on October 2 will be determined at a later date.
REMINDER: School will dismiss at 2:15 today and will begin dismissing each Wednesday at this time. If your child rides the bus, they will be home an hour earlier than usual.

Parents - If you have completed the Wildcat Online Academy (WOA) enrollment form online, please plan to attend the WOA orientation at Retta Brown on Wednesday, Sept 9 from 10am - 2pm to complete the enrollment process.
You will complete the WOA paperwork, pay the $25 enrollment fee (exact cash or check please), and receive your child's laptop or Chromebook and login instructions.
Until the enrollment process for WOA has been completed, the student needs to attend school on-site or parents need to contact the school to get your student's assignments.
Device handout for on-site students in grades 7-12 will also take place September 9 from 10-12 at Retta Brown. $25 insurance on the device is recommended. (Exact cash or check please.)

Parents - do you need help with Google Classroom? Come to Help for Parents this Thursday, Sept. 3 from 4:00-6:00 pm at the TAC House. If you cannot come this week, don't worry. This help will also be available at the TAC House on Sept. 8, 10, 15, & 17 from 4:00-6:00 pm.
Elementary students in Wildcat Online Academy are taking individual diagnostic assessments at El Dorado’s testing center. The data will be used by their teachers to place them in appropriate small groups for instruction.
The small groups will allow onsite teacher and peer interaction with virtual students. Small groups are expected to begin in September.
The assessments are scheduled by their school’s Instructional Facilitator. Parents and other Learning Coaches will be notified by telephone or through email about their child’s scheduled time.
We hope that each of you have weathered the storm safely. At this time, all of our buildings have power so we are planning for school to be in regular session tomorrow.
