Remember the Homecoming Parade will take place at 5:30 pm today! The parade will follow it's usual route - starting on Northwest Avenue, then turning down Main St. to Washington Ave., then back to the Municipal Auditorium.
Due to the high chance of rain for today, the Homecoming Parade has been rescheduled for Monday, October 28 at 5:30 p.m.* As of now, all other Homecoming activities will continue as scheduled. Thank you to the El Dorado Police Department, the Union County Fairgrounds, float drivers, and many others for your cooperation in this rescheduling.
*Monday’s 9th grade football game against Ruston has been moved to 6:00 p.m.
IMPORTANT NOTICE: There will be limited parking around the TAC House for tonight's Homecoming Game due to the delivery of materials for construction of the city's pavilion that will be built in that area soon.

Important Bus Information: During afternoon drop offs, the bus on Route 2 toward Moro Bay Highway was rear ended. All students are safe and no injuries have been reported. Another bus is in route to pick up these students and bring them safely home, however, please note that they will be delayed in getting to their drop offs today.

In our continued efforts to provide the safest environment for our students, El Dorado High School will have a demonstration by EntryShield on campus tomorrow. This company will show our administrators how their safety systems work. If you or your student encounter any of their detection equipment on campus tomorrow, there is no need for concern. It is merely a demonstration.
To avoid bus overcrowding, Bus Route 28, serving students at Yocum Elementary, will make two afternoon runs beginning Tuesday, September 3. Students being dropped off at 2nd Street, the Bus Yard and Wilson Street will take the first run. The bus will then come back to Yocum for students who will be dropped off at Cherry, Cargile, Plum, Louis and Hillsboro Apartments. Afternoon drop off times should only vary 5-10 minutes.
