We were saddened to learn of the passing of one of our students earlier this week. The El Dorado School District sends our deepest condolences to the family of Kendall Williams. Our sincere sympathies, thoughts, and prayers are with his family and friends during this time.

Thursday, July 26 is the last day the AR Test lab will be open at Hugh Goodwin. Bring your child between 11:30-1:00 to take AR Tests on the books they've been reading this summer and they'll have the chance to meet some of their favorite book characters! We'll draw for a $150 Walmart gift card after the testing lab closes.

Summer Meals are still available each Monday-Friday at Hugh Goodwin, Washington Middle, Barton Junior, and El Dorado High School. Stop by to enjoy healthy meals now through July 26. Breakfast from 8-9 am and Lunch from 12-1 pm.
Hugh Goodwin Elementary School is open each Thursday in July from 11:30-1:00 for all El Dorado elementary students to get some practice on their AR tests. If you’ve been reading books this summer, come get some extra practice on these tests and be entered to win a $150 Walmart gift card for every 5 points you earn. This week, UCAPS will bring the Paws Squad to cheer you on during your AR test. Come take a test and bring a donation for UCAPS - newspapers, laundry detergent, GermX, paper towels and pet foods are always welcome!
