On Thursday, Mrs. Bailey's 4th grade Accelerated Academy, was able to have Renee' Bearden from South Central Service Co-op presented a combined Literacy and Science lesson. First, she read the students a non-fiction picture book about two pets who helped each other during Hurricane Katrina. Then, she facilitated the students in a Hurricane Investigation. The students had a great time learning about hurricanes.
