"In Art, students in all grades K-4 have been creating artwork based on the book, The Dot. After reading the book during Dot Week last week, students created their own "dots" based on the premise "One Dot Can Become." Students were given one dot to place somewhere on their picture, then tasked with turning that dot into a work of art based around the circle. Creativity shined as their artworks included the dot becoming the center of a flower, a balloon, a grape, the sun, and even the eye of a monster!
