Fourth Grade students investigated skulls of herbivores, carnivores, and omnivores. Their research utilized a website that gave them the ability to view and manipulate the skulls in 3D. They planned to collect data about the teeth, jaw, and eye socket. During the investigation, they came to understand how these structures help the animals survive. At the conclusion of their study, students were able to successfully classify the unknown skulls.
