Did you know that each student in our district can access Rooms to see all of their class announcements from their teachers? If you haven’t done so yet, make sure your child logs in to their Rooms account via the ESD app or on a laptop.

Our annual Report to the Public meeting and Title 1 meeting will be held this Tuesday, October 8th, in the WMS Cafeteria at 5:30.

Parents! We will be sending out another round of invites to parents to set up their Guardian Rooms account tomorrow, Sept 10th via email and/or text! If you have not logged into your account yet, please be sure to keep an eye on your inbox/texts tomorrow. Please review our Rooms FAQs page on our website for more information.
Good morning, unfortunately due to the weather we are going to have to reschedule Family feast on the field. With the rain it will be too wet. We are rescheduling for next Friday, 9/13. If you are signed up you do not have to sign up again. I am sorry for the inconvenience. The weather is out of our control. Have a happy Friday.

Join us for Volunteer Training with the El Dorado School District and learn how you can contribute to our students' success!
Training Dates:
•Tomorrow! Friday, August 23, 2024 | 1:30 pm - 2:30 pm | TAC House
•Tuesday, August 27, 2024 | 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm | TAC House
•Friday, January 10, 2025, | 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm | TAC House
We can’t wait to welcome our volunteers into our schools throughout the year! 🎉
We NEED your help! We are needing 100% of our families to fill out this meal application form. This will not impact your child's free lunch this year. We are hoping it will help us qualify for free breakfast and lunch for all students again next year.
Please take a minute and fill this out. If you need help please let us know and we will be glad to help you complete it over the phone.
If we can get 100% of our families to complete this form before the deadline of Sept. 13th, our students will earn a free recess!

Three trainings will be offered this year:

• Tuesday, August 27, 2024, 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm at the TAC House
• Friday, January 10, 2025, 1 pm - 2 pm at the TAC House
Make plans to attend one of these trainings! We look forward to welcoming volunteers into our buildings all year long!
Say “hello” to two-way messaging and classroom announcements in the ESD app! With the addition of Rooms, our district app keeps getting better. Parents/guardians check your email/text for instructions to sign up and access new features. Also, be sure to turn on notifications for the ESD app so you don't miss important information from your child's teachers!
Bus route information!
Route 14 will be canceled for its morning and afternoon routes on Monday, August 19th.
Route 31/44 will only run in the morning on Monday, August 19th through Thursday, August 22nd. This route will run in the morning and afternoon on Friday, August 23rd.

As we gear up for the 2024-2025 school year, please be aware of updates to the ESD cell phone policy: www.eldoradopublicschools.org/article/1694279
From work, to home, to school, our phones are a key tool to navigate and communicate throughout the day. The custom-built ESD app makes it easy to stay up to date with district news and events.
Now, ESD is making it easier to stay in touch with teachers and class information from that same app. Using the ESD app you can easily switch from district and school information to Rooms, where you can see your student's classes and engage directly with teachers. Rooms can be accessed via the web and from our district app, which is available for free and can be used from both Apple and Android phones.
Parents and guardians will soon receive instructions via email/text to create their login to access Rooms within the district app.
6th graders will use their smart tag from last year. A new one can be purchased at orientation if they need a replacement.
Don't forget! The deadline to apply for Wildcat Online Academy (WOA) for the first semester is Sunday, July 21st!
