
5th grade picture day was today, 6th graders don't forget your pictures are tomorrow! Everyone will have their picture taken for the yearbook- parents can also purchase pictures with packets sent home last week!


Parent Volunteer Training will be held in the library this Thursday at 8:15 am. If you would like to volunteer this year at WMS please make sure you can attend this training. If you are unable to attend please contact our Parent Involvement Coordinator.

WMS has officially started our reading and math competitions! Winners of the competitions will be rewarded with an awesome overnight field trip on the Magical Mystery Tour! You won't want to miss this! More details coming soon!


This week our 6th grade students started building PIPER computers. Students used blueprints to build the computer casing. Next they will put together the electronics of the computer! #wmsismakingideashappen

Our Library MakerSpace is up and running this week! Students can earn tickets in their classes for a chance to bring a friend and hangout in our MakerSpace! #wmsismakingideashappen




Today 6th grade science students worked on starting the WMS garden! Students will learn about the scientific method as they watch things grow! #wmsismakingideashappen

Students in STEAM had to use the engineering design process to create a tower at least 10 cm off the ground that would hold a tennis ball aloft. They were given 5 straws, 4 coffee stirrers, 8 Popsicle sticks, string, and tape. #wmsismakingideashappen
