Bridge to College Algebra is being offered this summer. This program can prepare students who have completed Algebra II to take College Algebra and receive college credit. Find out more below, then apply today!

What is Bridge to College Algebra ?
B2CA is a grant funded, four-week program sponsored by El Dorado Public Schools, South Arkansas Community College, Union County Community Foundation, and the El Dorado Education Foundation. This activity-rich course will provide students with an authentic hands-on experience in higher-level mathematics. Because it has been fully funded, services and activities provided by the program are at NO COST to participants.

What does Bridge to College Algebra do?
Upon successful completion, students may qualify to receive one semester of credit for Algebra II from El Dorado High School (credit recovery). In addition, students will be expected to enroll in College Algebra during the next school year. Secondary goals of this program are to improve ACT scores and to prepare students for their fourth-year math course if they are returning to high school.

Who qualifies for Bridge to College Algebra?
Students who have completed Algebra II are eligible to apply. Because of the CoVID-19 issue, participants will be selected on a first come, first served basis. You may click the link below to complete a Google Form. If selected, we will contact you via your school email to confirm your participation. We ask that you carefully commit to attending every day and putting forth your best effort before applying to the program.
