El Dorado High School students partnered with the Adopt A School Program to help a school in Liberty, Texas. The school sustained substantial damage as a result of Hurricane Harvey. EHS was asked to contribute hygiene products. The school took this on as a project and had a contest between the grades. The sophomore class stepped up and won the challenge by donating the most supplies, winning a free lunch shift.
Pictured above are students packing items to send to the school. Pictured below is Larry Turbeville, brother of Principal Mrs. Reibe, and a resident of southeast Texas. Turbeville volunteered to deliver the boxes of items to the school. Students helped load his truck with boxes of supplies which will be delivered to the school on Monday, October 16.
Thanks to all the students who helped in this endeavor by giving back.
