The EHS ROTC Color Guard competed this morning. Our students performed extremely well and were complimented on their marching, among other things.
Check out the album on Facebook for more photos!

As part of celebrating El Dorado Promise Week, the EHS Junior Class attended a college fair held in the EHS Arena.
We are so thankful for the Promise and excited on behalf of our students!

School will dismiss at 1:30pm. Buses will run a little behind today. Thank you for your understanding!

ATTENTION: Guardians can continue checking students out as long as school personnel can do so safely. If it becomes unsafe, check-outs will be paused until they can be resumed safely. Additionally, if there are any guardians who are outside the school buildings and would like to take cover inside, please do so at your own risk. We want all to be safe.

ATTENTION:
Due to the current weather warnings, all schools are in a tornado drill. We do have early dismissal today, but dismissal will not begin until the warning has been lifted. Buses may run late.

Mark your calendars for the EHS Drama and Troupe 42 production.

Happy Law Enforcement Day to our very own Officer Heard.
Officer Heard has been in law enforcement since 2008 and has been a resource officer for the El Dorado School District for over 10 years.
When asked about her motivation to become a police officer, she said "I felt like it was a meaningful career and not just a job. It gives you a chance to help people and show a positive image of police in a time with a lot negative stigma."
Officer Heard says that the best part of her job as a resource officer "is the kids and the relationships I've built with them and their parents throughout the years. We have some really great kids, past and present!"
Thank you Officer Heard for your service and all you do to keep us safe! We are so lucky to have you at EHS and the El Dorado School District.

39 of our El Dorado Band and Orchestra students qualified for the ASBOA All-Region Band!
We are so proud of ALL of our students for working hard and auditioning.
Go Cats!

Mrs. Johnson's AP Bio students have been studying photosynthesis.
