Chess: Mega congratulations to JR Stipp Bethune for his second place finish in the Arkansas state chess championship in Eureka Springs Saturday. JR finished the tournament with a perfect 5-0 record and took the eventual champion down to the last second in the Armageddon round. Once again, congratulations JR.
CTE Celebration of Industry Certifications: 9-12 Graders in CTE that have gotten an Industry Certification will be celebrated today at The Cafe during all lunch shifts. You should have gotten a ticket from your CTE teacher. We are so proud of each of you!!
CTE Program Completers: Senior CTE Completers will be honored tonight during Honors Night at 6, sit on the gym floor, be early, dress nicely. You should have gotten a purple invitation.

Musical Theatre: Musical Theatre 1 will present "Into the Woods Jr." on Thursday and Friday night this week at 7pm. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased at the door.
Art Show: Join us for an ART SHOW! Visual Art 1 and Art Appreciation will present "Exploring Art Through the Senses" at The South Arkansas Arts Center from May 2nd - May 6th. Our Reception will be on Tuesday, May 3rd from 5:30pm-7:00pm. Come enjoy some punch and cookies, and see our beautiful Artwork.

Band: Congratulations to the El Dorado HS Band on their performance at the ASBOA State Concert Band Assessment. The band earned an "Excellent" rating last Monday in Bentonville. They were 1 of only 3 6A bands to compete. This is a big honor and they represented EHS well. Congratulations!!!
