ANNOUNCEMENTS NOV. 12: 
EHS Class Wars: EHS will be teaming up with Student Council on a canned food drive. Each grade is challenged to bring in as many canned foods to help local organizations during this holiday season. The top class who brings the most canned foods will receive points towards the Wildcat Class Wars. 2nd, 3rd, and 4th places will also receive points. So let's see who can help make some families happy this holiday season. Boxes will be located in front of the library in the commons. 
National Honor Society: All members, remember that dues are $15 and due to Mrs. Campbell in the Freshmen Hallway or Mrs. Richardson in the English Hallway by Monday, 11/15. See one of the sponsors if you have any questions or concerns. 
EHS Chamber Orchestra: The EHS Chamber Orchestra students all auditioned for the South All-Region Orchestra two weekends ago and we had 5 wonderfully talented students score high enough to participate in the South All-Region Orchestra Clinic and Concert: Junior Patricia Burris 4th chair viola, Junior Ellie Jenkins14th chair violin, & Junior Ethan Faith 8th chair bass, and Freshman Daphny Chen 13th chair violin and Freshman Sara Merales 12th chair violin. Congratulations to all of you!
Basketball: Congrats to the 9th grade boys basketball team! They beat Camden last night 58-54 in 5 overtime's! Also shoutout to our student section "The Purple Pit" for bringing energy all night! Sidenote: please do not storm the floor after victories. The players will come to the student section to celebrate! 
Mrs. Hill: Next week is American Education Week.  In your CATS time Monday or Tuesday, you will have access to note cards and you may write a note of appreciation to a teacher or other staff member.  Wednesday, teachers are encouraged to wear wear t-shirts from the college they attended, and students are encouraged to wear shirts from the college they want to attend (or RAZORBACK shirts as the football team will have former Razorback and NFL Hall of Famer, Steve Atwater, visiting on campus). Thursday students are encouraged to dress like the profession they want to have in the future or like a favorite teacher and Friday students should dress in purple to support our Wildcats!  Have a great Weekend!!! And GOOOOOO Wildcats!!!!
