El Dorado High School Graduation Ceremony will take place tomorrow, Monday, May 17th at Memorial Stadium beginning at 8pm.
In the case of inclement weather, graduation will be held in the El Dorado High School Wildcat Arena at 8:30pm.
Each graduate will each receive 5 tickets for the arena and 11 tickets for the stadium. These tickets are separate and cannot be used interchangeably.
Each person attending graduation, regardless of age, must have a ticket. This includes a child that would sit on a lap.
We will be monitoring the weather closely and will make a decision at the appropriate time. As any Arkansan knows, the weather changes quickly, and rain in the afternoon does not mean rain in the evening.
We will make every effort to host the 2021 graduation ceremony as normally scheduled, but in the event that is not possible, please remember that graduation will be live-streamed regardless of the weather. The link will be available on the website and social media pages of the El Dorado High School and El Dorado School District pages on Monday.

EHS DECA members competed virtually for the International DECA Competition in April. DECA prepares emerging leaders and entrepreneurs in marketing, finance, hospitality and management in high schools and colleges around the globe.

Congratulations to the EHS Band! The band received all Superior rating at the ASBOA Region III Concert Assessment. This is their 8th year in a row to achieve this. Go CATS!!

While practicing operations with polynomials, Mrs. Adams' Pre-AP Algebra I students worked on a card sort and a walk-about practice. "Moving, working together, and puzzles keep our brains running well while practicing our new learning!" Mrs. Adams said.

Last month, the EHS String Orchestra recorded their performance of Contrasts in E Minor and Wood Splitter Fanfare for the ASBOA Region Concert Assessment. Their performance was adjudicated by a panel of judges and was awarded all 1st Division Superior Ratings which is a SWEEPSTAKES, the highest honors a group can earn!!! Congratulations, EHS Orchestra!!! We are so proud of you!!!

Congratulations to orchestra members Madalyn Lyons and Coleigh White for their outstanding solo performances at Region III Solo & Ensemble Festival! Both seniors earned a 1st Division Superior Rating and will perform at the ASBOA State Solo & Ensemble Festival in this month!

To kick off Teacher Appreciation Week, we want to take a moment to recognize the teacher (turned administrator) who leads us all, Mrs. Sherry Hill.
Mrs. Hill loves professional football and is convinced she was a coach in a previous life. She is a huge Rolling Stones fan, having seen them in concert three times. Her favorite place to visit is the beach, and she usually goes twice a year: once with her family and again with her best friends of 28 years, former EHS Principal Alva Reibe and former ESD teacher and coach Teresa Crow.
Yesterday was National School Principal's Day. And where do you think our principal was on a Saturday, one of her few precious days off? She was serving students at the senior banquet.
Mrs. Hill's love for her school shines in all she does. We are thankful, grateful, and blessed to have her as an administrator. Thank you for all you do, Mrs. Hill!
