Varsity Boys Basketball will be having open tryouts for next year's team on Monday, March 16th in the Wildcat Arena from 3:30-5:00pm. You will need shorts, shirts, and basketball shoes for tryouts. See Coach Simmons or Coach DeSoto to sign up.

Congrats to the Quiz Bowl team on their performance at the regional competition in Russellville this past weekend. They scored a total of 1,000 points which qualified them to compete at the state competition in April.

It's MUSIC IN OUR SCHOOLS MONTH! The El Dorado Schools String Orchestras will host a FREE concert tomorrow night at 6:30pm in the EHS auditorium! Come out and support the arts!
Each year, we rely on parents to help us feed faculty during CATS Conferences. Thank you for your willingness to support EHS teachers and staff through the gift of food!

Congrats to the Varsity Boys Soccer team on winning the Little Rock Christian Classic this past weekend. The team went 2-0, beating Warren 3-1 in the first round and LR Christian 5-4 in penalty kicks. Go Cats!

EHS experienced the ASTROZONE at Murphy Arts District today. Mrs. Harwell would like to say a special thank you to MAD and Mrs. Gay Beck for the tour! They had a blast!




CONGRATS to the EHS Swim Team!
The team took 12 team members to the state meet last Saturday, and every athlete came home with at least one medal!
Although many were close, freshman Adrianna Arnold was the only all-state finisher, placing 2nd in the 500 yard freestyle.

Biology I students in Ms.Lindquist's classes extracted DNA from their cheek cells and put it in a vial this week. Did you know you can see DNA when it’s clumped together? So cool! Some of the students made their DNA into necklaces and bracelets!

This week, members of EHS DECA competed at the 2020 state competition. They competed against schools from across Arkansas in Marketing events.
Congrats to the winners: Shayla Smith, 3rd place Automotive Service Individual Series Event and Takari Turner and LaNiya Tillis, Entrepreneurship Team Decision Making Event.
Along with the winners competing and advancing to Nationals, several members will represent the Outstanding Recognized Gold Level Small Business Operations School Based Enterprise Event.
Advisors are Jackie Phillips and Joyce Martindale.


WMS Bands and the EHS Jazz Cats performed for all the 4th graders in the district today in the EHS Auditorium as a part of their annual recruitment concert. What a fun tradition!
Military ball tickets are on sale on all lunch shifts. Couples are $25 and singles are $15. All EHS students are welcomed to attend. The military will be on the 25th of April.

Come by Mrs. McDuffie's room 2412 Monday or Tuesday after school to sign up if you'd like to take a trip to the Clinton Presidential center to participate in a forum March 13.
