The SHARE program will provide Arkansas high school students with eight weeks (3rd June- 26th July, 2019) of intense laboratory exposure along with a cluster of professional/career development activities to increase their chances of successfully navigating the academic pipeline towards a STEMM (STEMM- Science, Technology, Engineering, Math and Medicine) /Professional degree.
Each high school student will receive a $2500 stipend.
To participate the student must be recognized as economically disadvantaged. Preference will be given to students whose maximum family income does not exceed 200% of the current Federal Poverty guidelines based on family size (https://aspe.hhs.gov/2019-poverty-guidelines ).

It takes a village! Indeed, it takes the participation of a “critical mass” of students, mentors and community partners with aligned goals and aspirations is essential for the success of professional development programs. We are extremely happy that you are interested in expanding our summer cohort. We guarantee that your funds will go a long way in catalyzing the metamorphosis of several high school students in the years to come. This program will be jointly funded by American Chemical Society Project SEED*, NYITCOM at A-State, Arkansas Biosciences Institute (ABI), and the Community Health Centers of Arkansas (CHCA).
At the end of the summer, some of these students will be eligible to apply for a college scholarship (from American Chemical Society) and some of them will enter in to INTEL/Regeneron Science Competitions facilitated by the Society for Science and the Public, Washington DC.

Wildcat 101 classes had guest speakers on yesterday from First Financial Bank to discuss financial decisions, banking, and careers in banking. Guest speakers were Mr. Scott Walker, Retail Market President and Mr. Trey Clark, Sr. VP and Commercial Lender.

Deadline to order class shirts is Thursday, July 18th at noon. Cash only please! $20 for each shirt. Extended sizes starting with 2xl are $2 more.
Pay in Mrs. Lowe’s room or Mrs. Phillips’ room between classes. During the summer, pay at the office. Shirts will be available during Open House the first week of August.
El Dorado High School Graduation will be held at Memorial Stadium at 8:00 pm and broadcast live at www.eldoradosportsnetwork.com or via the Sports section of our app. If there are any changes in the schedule due to inclement weather, they will be posted here.
