Exploring higher education at Southern Arkansas University! 📚 Our 6th graders had an amazing trip to Magnolia just before spring break, getting a firsthand look at the beautiful SAU campus. Huge thanks to SAU for welcoming us and giving us an unforgettable tour. And of course, a big shoutout to Mrs. Upchurch for making it all happen!

🌟 The Amazing Shake Team Prepares for Atlanta! 🌟
Last Thursday, our students faced a unique challenge in preparation for the upcoming competition. With the restaurant's main foods out of stock, they had to think on their feet and order from the available options. This real-life scenario tested their problem-solving skills and adaptability. Go team!
5th grade writing has been worked hard to prepare for the state writing test! Several students made encouraging posters for their peers, and many students have shown mastery on all 5th grade writing targets!

WMS Archery season has come to an end for both teams, and what a season it’s been! Today they competed in the State Tournament at Hot Springs, AR. Our 5th-grade team placed 7th out of 30 elementary teams with a Score: 2878, while our 6th-grade team secured 13th place out of 30 middle school teams with a Score: 3103.
Congratulations to our talented archers who qualified as individuals for nationals in Salt Lake City, UT!
Zackary Hargett clinched 2nd place in the state for elementary boys with a score of 280, Aubrey Kilgore landed 4th for elementary girls with a score of 266, Priscilla Martinez secured 8th for elementary girls with a score of 257, and Josie Mann grabbed 5th for middle school girls with a score of 279.
We’re incredibly proud of each and every one of our archers for their dedication and hard work this season. Way to go!
