Today, our 6th graders had the amazing opportunity to learn all about weather from KTVE Meteorologist Alex Noel! It was an enlightening experience for our students, and they had a blast soaking up all the weather knowledge. Thank you, Alex, for taking the time to visit with our students and make this day extra special!
Monday morning students had the opportunity to meet Melissa Edison, all the way from Houston, Texas! She captivated us with her journey as an industrial engineer at the fourth largest hospital in the US, intertwining her love for art and writing. She shared about where she came from as a kid versus where she is now. Thank you for shedding light on STEM careers and the boundless opportunities, Melissa! 💡🚀 #STEMInspiration
Celebrating our January IXL leaderboard winners! Students in the top 10 were rewarded a couple of weeks ago with a treat of their choice. Impressive work from our top 2 students who answered over 1200 language arts questions correctly, with 3rd place close behind at nearly 700 correct answers. Keep up the great work!
