Tryouts for the EHS Lady Cats Soccer team will be held at the stadium on December 14th and 15th beginning at 4:30pm. Athletes need to bring a completed physical, cleats, shin guards, water, and any medication (i.e. inhalers) needed.

eXtreme will meet in the Commons after school today at 3:30. This is the last day to join, and you must pay your $20 fee. T-shirts are being ordered Friday, so they will be in for the Ring the Bell event on December 17th at Walmart.
The Varsity Cheerleaders performed at the grand re-opening of Brookshires on SW Avenue yesterday morning! What a fun celebration for our community!
BASKETBALL TICKETS
There are 40 vouchers to purchase tickets for the Benton game at Benton this Friday. They can be picked up at the TAC house from 9am-4:30pm Thursday and 9am-12pm Friday.
There are 40 tickets that can be purchased for the Bryant game on December 18, 2020 at Bryant. They can be purchased from 11am - 4:30pm beginning tomorrow through Thursday, December 17th.
All tickets/vouchers must be picked up at the TAC House.
Senior picture retakes will be on DEC. 8. Seniors need to come to the library on the morning of Dec. 8. Gentlemen, wear a white Tshirt. Ladies, a tank top or something easy to pull off the shoulder. Be sure you meet dress code the rest of the day. Virtual students will be able to come to the library to have their pictures taken.
Baseball tryouts for 10th-12th graders will take place THIS Thursday from 5:30-6:30 at the high school field. You must have a current physical to tryout. You will need glove, hat, and any type of cleats. Email cannon.lester@esd-15.org for any questions.
REMINDER FOR BASKETBALL GAMES:
Students CANNOT stay in the arena after school unless they are a basketball player.Due to covid restrictions, we must have an accurate count of who is in the arena. Parents, please make sure your child has appropriate transportation after school.
SENIORS: It's time to put down your deposit for senior ads. Reserve your ad spot with a $50 deposit that goes toward your ad cost. This guarantees you a space and splits up your payment. Ads will be due in March, but this lets you get ahead before the craziness of spring semester. See Cross in 2205 if you need a form to take home. Deposits are due before the holiday break.

The ESD Athletic Office will have 60 tickets for sale Tuesday, December 1st for the Camden Fairview basketball game at Camden Fairview. These will be sold on a first come, first serve basis from 9 am - 2 pm or until sold out.

Ms. Easter's classes were busy in the kitchen this past week! FACS students make homemade pizzas, while Food Safety and Nutrition students made omelettes. Yummy!

Recently, the biotechnology class conducted a DNA fingerprinting lab using gel electrophoresis. DNA is "loaded" into wells of a gel, electricity is used to move the DNA through the gel, and then, the gel is stained. What a cool lab!

Mrs. Marlin's Environmental Science students recently did a "cemetery" lab where they collected data on birth dates and death dates to create a survivorship curve. The lab was done close to Halloween, so they even had some festive decor!
