If you missed the Winter Concert on Tuesday, you missed an amazing showcase of talented students. And behind those students is an equally amazing group of teachers who pour their hearts into their students and their art. We are so thankful for each of you and the time you spend perfecting your music with your students!

Students in Mrs. McClellan's Transitional Math classes applied what they learned about linear functions by simulating a bungee jump in class last week. Students used balloons with flour and rubber bands to collect data, and then, they used that data to write the equation of a line of best fit. This equation was used to predict the number of rubber bands needed to provide a safe, yet thrill-seeking jump for the jumper. What a neat lesson!
